Founded in 2009, Jo.P. Communications Ltd has built its reputation on trust, recommendation and results. Today, this mother and daughter partnership combines experience, energy and straight-talking expertise to deliver truly bespoke marketing that cuts through the noise, gets things done and makes a genuine difference.
Jo.P. Communications Ltd was founded, first opening its doors with sole Director and Consultant, Jo at the helm, delivering marketing and communications services, primarily to the travel and tourism industry.
Scooping a significant contract with Yorkshire’s Great Houses, Castles and Gardens, Jo started to represent and run this long-established marketing consortium. Working to this day representing over 30 attractions, Jo delivers a range of creative marketing campaigns and initiatives to promote great days out in Yorkshire.
From being a guest speaker on branding at a York Professionals event to subsequently impressing the Board of Directors, Jo took on York Professionals as a client, expanding her sector expertise to professional services. Jo still works supporting the Board and delivering the organisation’s annual events calendar.
Jo was awarded Fellowship (FCIM) of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). The professional distinction is CIM’s senior membership grade, recognising marketers with significant strategic experience, leadership and a long-standing contribution to the profession.
Grace came on board as an intern for Jo.P. Communications Ltd working alongside her university studies to gain valuable business experience. Finding she had a natural flair for the work, she quickly establishes her name on the York business scene.
Grace graduates from Leeds Beckett University with a First-Class BA (Hons) degree in Public Relations and Brand Communications. She secures her first job as Marketing and Operations Assistant working for a well-established York-based learning and development company.
Jo was honoured to be appointed as a judge of the Visit York Tourism Awards, which recognise excellence across York’s thriving visitor economy. The appointment reflects her extensive experience within tourism, marketing and communications and the high regard in which her industry experience is held.
Grace is appointed as co-Director of Jo.P. Communications Ltd, working to support Jo with an ever-growing range of clients, bringing a fresh digital perspective to expand the services offered to now include social media management.
